It all begins with a calling.
I am a student at the University of Arizona, majoring in Wildlife Conservation and Management. I’ve always had a deep love for the outdoors—hiking, camping, and exploring nature—but even greater than that is my love for Jesus. However, my faith was truly tested when I left home for college. Entering such a dark campus environment, I got caught up in the party lifestyle and drifted so far from God that I could no longer recognize His voice. After hitting rock bottom, I knew I needed to repent and turn back to Him. That’s when I found Chi Alpha.
Through Chi Alpha, I learned what it means to walk in both the love and fear of the Lord. They challenged me to take my faith seriously, to live a life that is holy and set apart, and to pursue God with everything in me. God has radically transformed my life—freeing me from fear, breaking unhealthy attachments to the world, and delivering me from struggles that once had a grip on me. Chi Alpha has been instrumental in showing me that holiness isn’t just an ideal—it’s the way we are called to live as followers of Christ.
Now, God is stirring my heart for missions, and I feel deeply burdened for the people of North Africa, a region where the gospel is nearly nonexistent. Many there have never even heard the true name of Jesus, and my desire is to bring the light of Christ to those who have been denied access to the truth. I believe God is sending me to be a witness, to serve, and to love as He has loved me.
Chi Alpha
Chi Alpha exists to reach the college campus—a pivotal mission field where future leaders, influencers, and world changers are being shaped. University students are at a critical crossroads, making decisions that will define their lives, yet many have never encountered the transformative power of Jesus Christ. We are called to bring the gospel to this generation, building authentic communities where students experience God’s love, grow in their faith, and are equipped to impact the world for Christ.
Through discipleship, intentional relationships, and Spirit-led outreach, we seek to not only transform campuses but to raise up bold, faithful leaders who will carry the message of Jesus into every nation, every sphere of society, and every corner of the earth. The urgency is great, and the time is now—because if we reach the campus, we can reach the world.
